We are a family that has fallen in love with the Labrador breed - right from the first moment that our boy Charcoal Charlie became a part of our lives. We took 2 years to learn about the breed, network with other breeders and participate in whelpings before deciding to become breeders ourselves. Leia's Pregnancy Ultrasound! 8/7/12

We saw lots of healthy puppies and strong heartbeats on Tuesday when Leia had her ultrasound. I added a blue circle around the two puppies in this picture. They are inside of the black bubble of amniotic fluid.

We didn't get a full count of the number of puppies, but saw at least 6 or 7. In two weeks, Leia will have an x-ray to confirm the exact number of puppies that she is expecting. Stay tuned!
